Perhaps taking advantage of his summer vacation back to Taiwan, Chen Cheng-po once again walked into the wilderness outside of Chiayi and came to the site of the Marker of the Tropic of Cancer. The same marker that he had painted in watercolor several years ago has been transformed into a brand-new look. Right at this moment, he was going to challenge this man-made modern spectacle with different painting techniques. Like a showdown between David and Goliath, the painter stood in front of the huge marker, examining the paint tubes in his paint box. How could he win over his opponent with his paints?
